For individuals who have used Keystone Tax Solutions Pro in previous years to prepare their client’s tax returns, a prior year comparison of tax return data is automatically calculated and available for printing in the View Resultsmenu.
If you did not previously use Keystone Tax Solutions Pro to prepare a client’s prior year return, or if this is the first year preparing a particular client’s return, a prior year comparison can still be generated in the program. From the Main Menu of the tax return (Form 1040) select:
- Miscellaneous Forms
- Enter Prior Year(s) Data for Comparison
- Enter the information for the year(s) you wish to compare.
