Error Messages: ENCRYPT/ DECRYPT

If you receive an ENCRYPT/DECRYPT error, you will need to re-download and install all of the Federal Updates.  Once you have re-downloaded and installed these updates, reboot the computer.  Once the computer has restarted, you will need to register the DLL files.  To register DLL files, from the Main Menu of Keystone Tax Solutions select:

 Configuration Utilities

Register DLL Files

Select ‘YES’ to Register DLL’s

After selecting ‘YES’, a series of pop up dialog boxes will come up on your screen.  Make sure that each of these boxes states ‘Successful’.

Select ‘OK’ on each of the boxes to close them.

If you receive a message stating that one or more of the DLL files were not successful, please contact Technical Support at 1800.504.5170.
