Keystone Tax Solutions Pro does not have an uninstall feature. If you wish to delete the Keystone Tax Solutions Pro program, complete the steps for the particular year you wish to uninstall, but bear in mind that all returns will be removed and permanently deleted if you remove the program and delete the Keystone Tax Solutions Pro folders.
Important caveats
- If you are removing the program for the purpose of freeing up space on your hard drive, take into consideration that the files contained within the Keystone Tax Solutions folder are small in size and deleting them will not create a significant amount of free space on your hard drive.
- While current Keystone Tax Solutions Pro customers can download and install programs for the current and three prior tax years from their Account Hub, programs older than three years are not available for download. Consider keeping older programs installed so that you will have access to returns for clients being audited or who need their return amended or reprinted. (Individual return data files are encrypted and unreadable by any other software.)
