Keystone Tax Solutions Pro Client Reports allows you to generate and save reports based on filters you select. Client Reports can also be used to print labels, folder labels and can be exported to an excel spreadsheet. The client reports are generated based on electronic filing data stored on the File Server. To access client reports, from the Main Menu of Keystone Tax Solutions Pro select Reports > Client Reports.
Select the filter you would like to use to generate the report:
Generate Report Type: Select an option from the drop down menu:
View/Print Report: Generates a PDF view of the report. To generate the PDF, select View/Print Report and then click the View button. The total number of clients found using the selected filter will be displayed on the screen. Select Yes to continue. A list of available fields to print on the report will be displayed on the screen (first name, last name, SSN, etc.). Select the fields you want to print on the report and select Ok. A sort by box will be displayed on the screen. Your selection will determine the order that the clients will print on the return. Select Ok.
View/Print Labels: Generates a PDF view of the report formatted to print labels. To generate the PDF, select View/Print Labels and then click the View button.
View/Print Folder Labels: Generates a PDF view of the report formatted to print folder labels. This option will print the labels in first name, last name format. To generate the PDF, select View/Print Folder Labels and then click the View button. See below to print labels in last name, first name format.
View/Print Folder Labels (Last Name): Generates a PDF view of the report formatted to print folder labels. This option will print the labels in last name, first name format. To generate the PDF, select View/Print Folder Labels (Last Name) and then click the View button.
Display Totals: Displays the number of clients found for the parameters selected. No report is generated.
Export to Microsoft Excel File: Generates a Excel spreadsheet of the report. To generate the Excel Spreadsheet, select Export to Microsoft Excel File and then click the View button. The total number of clients found using the selected filter will be displayed on the screen. Select Yes to continue. A list of available fields to print on the report will be displayed on the screen (first name, last name, SSN, etc.). Select the fields you want to print on the report and select Ok. A Save As box will open on the screen Select the file location where you would like to save the report, and enter a file name for the report. Click the Save button.
Send Text Message: This option is available in Premium Package only. A Twilio Account is required to use this option. Send text message allows you to select clients from the report and send them a text message through the program. To generate and send a text message, select Send Text Message and then click the View button. The total number of clients found using the selected filter will be displayed on the screen. Select Yes to continue. A list of clients that have not provided a cell phone will be displayed on the screen. These clients will not be sent a text message. Select Ok. Enter the text message you would like to send in the space provided. Click the Send Message button.
