Keystone Tax Solutions will download configured updates automatically every day when the program is opened for the first time. All updates must be downloaded and installed on the File Server prior to updating workstation computers. To manually download and install federal and state programs, from the main menu of Keystone Tax Solutions select:
- Updates
- Download/Install Updates
- Updates that are highlighted in red have not been downloaded or installed on this computer. Select each federal and/or state update that you wish to install
- Select the Download button
Workstation Computers:
Once updates are completed on the File Server you will need to run the updates on the workstations. From the main menu of Keystone Tax Solutions select:
- Updates
This will begin the automatic update process for the workstation. All updates that have been installed on the file server will be copied to the workstation.
