Form 8594 – Asset Acquisition Statement – Complete this form for a corporation that is the buyer or the seller of a group of assets that comprises a trade or business. A group of assets constitutes a trade or business if goodwill or going concern value could attach to such assets. A separate Form 8594 must be completed for each separate sale of a group of assets. Form 8275 – Disclosure Statement (8275 & 8275-R) – Form 8275 is filed by individuals, corporations, pass-through entities, and tax return preparers to avoid penalties related to the return’s accuracy and substance as well as preparer penalties. The form discloses items or positions that aren’t adequately disclosed on the tax return, except for those taken contrary to regulation. If you are disclosing a position taken contrary to a regulation, use Form 8275-R, Regulation Disclosure Statement, instead of Form 8275.
Form 8833 – Treaty-Based Return Position Disclosure – Complete Form 8833 for the corporation if a treaty-based return position has been taken on the corporation’s return.
