Editing the Client Letter

To edit the Client Letter that prints with the tax return, from the Main Menu of Keystone Tax Solutions select:
  • Configuration
  • Printer/Copies Setup
  • Edit the Client Letter
  • Edit Detailed Client Letter
Edit Detailed Client Letter – In this menu you can add, delete or change the wording of the client letter to better suit your needs.  Once the letter is changed, the new letter will adjust for all of your clients.  You may add additional ‘Sections’ and ‘Tags’ for both Federal and State; however, do not change the wording in brackets as this information is pulled from the databases located in the program.
Reset Detailed Client Letter to Default – If you’ve made changes to the client letter and do not wish to keep them, this will revert the client letter back to the original form.
Edit Detailed Privacy Letter – In this menu you can add, delete or change the wording of the privacy letter to better suit your needs.  Once the letter is changed, the new letter will adjust for all of your clients.  You may add additional wording; however, do not change the wording in brackets as this information is pulled from the databases located in the program.
Reset Detailed Privacy Letter to Default – If you’ve made changes to the privacy letter and do not wish to keep them, this will revert the privacy letter back to the original form.

Edit Addresses

  • Federal Addresses
  • State Addresses
  • State Miscellaneous Information
