The IRS MeF and Keystone Tax Solutions support year round electronic filing (e-file) for the current tax year and the two previous years. An exception applies for the IRS annual scheduled maintenance outage which generally begins in late November and lasts until January. During this time tax returns cannot be electronically filed for any tax year.
Supported electronic filing for 1040, 1120, 1120-S, 1065, 1041, 990:
- January 2018, IRS MeF supported for tax years 2017, 2016, and 2015.
- January 2017, IRS MeF supported for tax years 2016, 2015, and 2014.
- January 2016, IRS MeF supported for tax years 2015, 2014, and 2013.
- January 2015, IRS MeF supported for tax years 2014, 2013, and 2012.
