Managing / Changing the Client List

There are several ways to change the way the Client List displays when you select Tax Returns from the Main Menu of Keystone Tax Solutions Pro.


Customizing which columns to display or hide

To select which columns you want to be displayed on the Client List, from the Main Menu of Keystone Tax Solutions Pro select:

  • Configuration
  • Advanced Configuration
  • Display Settings
  • Edit Client’s 1040 List
  • Select Columns To Display On Client List

Check or uncheck the box(es) next to items you wish to show or hide in the Client List.


Customizing the left-to-right order of the columns

You can also arrange the column headings in any order by clicking and holding on the heading name in the Client List and dragging the column header to the preferred location in the list. If after dragging it disappears entirely, look for it on the right-hand side of the list.


Hiding the Client List entirely

If your clients can see your computer monitor, you may not wish to display the Client List. If you prefer not to see the Client List, from the Main Menu of Keystone Tax Solutions Pro select:

  • Configuration
  • Advanced Configuration
  • Display Settings
  • Edit Client’s 1040 List
  • Start Return Using Client List

Change the answer to NO. From this point on, each time you select Tax Returns from the Main Menu you will be prompted to either enter the Taxpayer’s SSN or press Enter by itself to display the Client List.
