Offices that use a commission-based structure to pay preparers can run this report to display commission totals by preparer. The report calculates commissions on amounts paid on returns, thus for a return that has either not been fully paid or has been overpaid, there will be a difference in the fees showing on this report and the fees showing on other reports.
Setting Rates for Preparers
To setup commission rates for a preparer, from the Main Menu of Keystone Tax Solutions Pro select:
- Configuration
- Firm / ERO / Preparer Setup
- Preparer(s) Menu
- Select the preparer. Edit either Preparer Prep Fee Commission % and Preparer E-file Commission % as desired.
Printing the Preparer Commission Report
To print the Preparer Commission Report, from the Main Menu of Keystone Tax Solutions Pro select:
- Reports
- Preparer Commission Report
- Select the desired payment date range and the desired preparer code range.
