ProWeb – Filing Deadline and Extension Information

Individual Returns/Extensions

The deadline for submitting timely filed 2017 individual income tax returns and extensions is Tuesday, April 17th, 2018. Returns and extensions will be considered timely filed if they are postmarked by April 17th or electronically filed by midnight on April 17th. To ensure that all transmissions are considered timely filed, please have all returns and extensions transmitted to Keystone Tax Solutions Pro no later than 11:59 PM your local time on Tuesday, April 17th. We advise finalizing and transmitting all returns and extensions well before the midnight deadline.

Individual returns and extensions that are rejected by the IRS can be corrected and re-transmitted within 5 days and still be considered timely filed. All corrected individual returns and extensions must be transmitted no later than 11:59PM your local time on April 22, 2018.

Returns Non-Accepted Report

We highly recommend running a returns non-accepted report and a state returns non-accepted report before the filing deadline to ensure all returns and extensions have been transmitted and accepted.

To view and print these reports, select Reports from the Welcome page of your ProWeb account. These reports are located in the middle of the Office Reports page.

NOTE: These reports will only display returns that have been marked for electronic filing with no acknowledgement or returns that have been rejected.
