When the Keystone Tax Solutions Pro software is available to for download in late November or early December, the state programs and the business program will not be included. State programs are individually released when we receive final approval from each state. Unless pending legislation or late tax law changes by the state delay the ability to release a state program, updates will be released and available prior to the start of electronic filing. The business program is typically released the week prior to the start of electronic filing.
To download and install state programs and/or the business program, from the Main Menu of Keystone Tax Solutions Pro select:
- Updates > Download / Install Updates
- The Update Selection Menu will display on the screen. New updates that need to be downloaded and installed will be RED.
- Select each update you wish to download and install and select the Download button. After installation, the update selection buttons will turn white.
Select the Business Tab to download and install the Federal Business Installation and any business states that have been released. New business updates will also appear in RED with an asterisk (*).
