Attach a USB/Flash Drive to the original (OLD) computer. From the Main Menu of Keystone Tax Solutions Pro select:
- Configuration
- Configuration Utilities
- Copy Configuration to Disk
- Select the Drive Letter assigned to the flash drive
- Name the file and Select OK
When the configuration files are finished copying to the selected drive you will see the following message: Configuration Successfully Backed Up.
Ensure that the program has been installed on the new computer. After copying the configuration, remove the USB Drive from the old computer and attach it to the NEW computer. From the Main Menu of Keystone Tax Solutions Pro select:
- Configuration
- Configuration Utilities
- Restore Configuration from Disk
- Select the Drive Letter to restore from. This will be a drive other than “C:\TaxSlayer”
- Select OK
To copy configuration over your Network, repeat the above steps on each workstation
